BHS Member Center: Quartets - How to Register A New Quartet

Members who are interested in registering a new quartet with the Barbershop Harmony Society can now complete the application online (including payment).

The information you’ll need in order to submit an application to register a quartet:

  • Preferred Quartet Name
  • Two Alternate Names (in case preferred name is not available)
  • Primary Quartet Contact Information
    • Contact Email Address (if applicable)
    • Contact Phone (if applicable)
    • Contact Fax Number (if applicable)
  • BHS Member ID#’s or BHS affiliated email addresses of the members of the quartet with whom you’d like to register
  • The District in which you’d like to affiliate (Only the districts in which one of the quartet members are a member of can be selected.)
  • Applicable Payment Information (i.e. Credit Card) for $10.00 fee per member of the quartet

Tutorial

Login to the BHS Member Center

  1. Login to the BHS Member Center by visiting http://members.barbershop.org.
  2. Use your username and password to log in. 
  3. After logging in, select "Quartets" towards the left-hand side. Then select "Register a Quartet". 
  4. You will be brought to a screen similar to the below example. You should notice that your name is automatically included under the Quartet Members list on the right-hand side. 
  5. Enter the information in the respective fields such as: 
    1. Preferred Quartet Name
    2. Two Alternate Names (in case preferred name is not available)
    3. Primary Quartet Contact Information
      • Contact Email Address (if applicable)
      • Contact Phone (if applicable)
      • Contact Fax Number (if applicable)
    4. Quartet Members (BHS Member ID#’s or BHS affiliated email addresses of the members of the quartet with whom you’d like to register) 
    5. The District in which you’d like to affiliate (Only the districts in which one of the quartet members are a member of can be selected.)
    6. Social Media & Marketing Links (if applicable) 
  6. Special Note: The person registering the quartet will automatically be named as the "Quartet Contact". If you submit your registration and then change the contact person, you will no longer be able to edit the quartet. Handle with special care! 
  7. After entering the information about your quartet and its members, press Submit towards the bottom. 
  8. You will be brought to a payment page to enter your credit/debit card information to pay for the quartet registration. 
  9. Enter all applicable information of your credit/debit card, and press Submit. 
  10. You will receive an email receipt of your payment. Quartet registration applications may take 5-7 business days to review. 
  11. Note: The quartet contact is the individual who will be provided permissions in Barberscore  to register for contests.
