Youth Protection Training: Accessing and Completing Your Training

Youth Protection Training is an awareness training required by our insurance company to help mitigate risk associated with youth activities. It will require roughly an hour of your time to watch the video and complete the quiz. Once complete, you will receive a certificate of completion that you can provide your chapter, event coordinator, or other leaders. The training is assigned and managed through Abuse Prevention Systems.

Officers of chapters with youth members will automatically be assigned training on a weekly basis. Non-titled officers, BHS members, and BHS event volunteers can be assigned to the Training upon request (contact for more information) or by signing up here.

This training can be completed anywhere, anytime, in about an hour. Users will need a unique email address (i.e., multiple users may not share one email address) and access to the internet, preferably from a desktop device. Once the training is complete, users receive a certificate of completion valid for one year from the issue date.

Logging In

Once assigned, users will receive a training invitation by email address from BHS Customer Service. Click the link at the bottom of the email address 

Clicking on the link will take you directly to the beginning of the training course.

Once you've finished viewing the nine training videos, click the checkbox below the video player that reads "I have watched ALL 9 training videos on this page OR received the full training from an approved trainer and/or in group training."

Select a response to the question and click "Continue" to move onto the next question.

When you have finished all 25 questions, you'll be given your quiz score.

Feel free to save your training certificate for your future reference. When your certificate expires, you'll receive another invitation by email to renew your training.
